How do we check whether our date is available?

When should the DJ set finish?
Your finish time depends on the venue's event schedule and licence. Confirm the permitted finish with your coordinator, then We can plan the music coverage and any late-finish option around it.
What if our venue has a sound limiter?
Let Us know as soon as you can and share any guidance from the venue. Sound limiters vary, so the venue should confirm its operating rules; the sound system and set can then be planned with those limits in mind.
How much time is needed to set up?
Setup time depends on the package, access route and the venue's schedule. We will coordinate arrival and setup timing with you and the venue before the wedding day.
Can we choose the music?
Yes. Your planning conversation covers favourite artists and songs, key moments, genres you enjoy and a do-not-play list. We uses that brief while reading the room on the night.
Can the DJ make announcements or act as MC?
Professional MCing can be included in the event plan. Tell Us which announcements and moments you need covered so they can be agreed in advance.
Are you insured?
Chester Wedding DJs is fully insured and covered by public liability insurance. If your venue needs documentation, mention it when you enquire so the relevant details can be arranged.
How do deposits and payments work?
The proposed booking deposit is 30% to secure your date. Your written agreement will confirm the actual payment schedule, balance due date and cancellation terms before you commit.
Can you provide sound for the ceremony and drinks reception?
Yes. The Full Day and Signature packages include ceremony and drinks reception PA with a microphone, alongside background music through dinner and evening entertainment.
What areas do you cover?
We're based in Handbridge, Chester and serve Chester, Cheshire, North Wales and the surrounding North West, generally within around two hours of Chester.
